"Oh gods, oh gods," Galahad mutters, pacing around nervously. Gawain is in his best and on his cot and he seems perfectly calm and relaxed. Galahad is taking deep breaths. It has been ages since he's been with a woman and he's wondering just how much attention he will wind up giving her as opposed to Gawain.
He bit his lip. "Gawain," he worried aloud. "Gawain, what if...what if she...I..." he stammers, sighing and sitting down in Gawain's lap immediately for the proximity. He cranes his head around, resting his head on Gawain's shoulder. "What if she latches on to the thought of being with you?" he whispers, unsure about their choice now. They had looked friendly the night before.
"Don't forget me?"
Gawain strokes Galahad's hair. "As if I could forget you, you daft bastard," he says quietly before he presses a kiss to Galahad's forehead. "If she latches on to the thought of being with me, I shall have to decline such an offer. Politely, of course.
"You know, she says that there are rumours about us; about you and me." Gawain rubs the back of Galahad's neck. "I have not told her that there is truth behind them but I will, if necessary."
Galahad gives Gawain a small smile. "Rumours?" he asks, almost coyly. He grins and leans into Gawain's touch, sighing happily. "Mmm, feels good. Don't stop," he commands, half-purring. He shifts and settles until he's more comfortable in Gawain's lap.
Unfortunately, the knock on the door stops them.
Galahad pouts. "I don't even get to warm you up?"
Gawain grins and kisses Galahad deeply. "There is still time for us to warm up," he whispers before he sets Galahad on his feet.
He stands up and pulls Galahad into his arms. Still looking at Galahad, he calls out, "Come in!" to Lynette.
Galahad looks over at Gawain, wondering what could possibly be going through his mind. He doesn't move from Gawain's arms, though he's confused. "Uh...Gawain?"
Lynette walks in the door and immediately, she stares at the two. "Did I interrupt?" she questions, glancing at Gawain. "I see the rumours are true."
"Yes," says Gawain, a little distractedly. "Do tell us more about these rumours, Lynette. Galahad is most intrigued by them."
He beckons to Lynette.
Galahad wonders if perhaps, Gawain has gone insane. It would surely explain quite a bit. He glances over at Lynette, an apologetic smile on his face. "I really don't..."
She closes the door behind her and makes her way over to the cot, sitting down. "They speak of you two sharing a cot, indulging in each other to stave off loneliness and cold nights." She looks up. "Sometimes, you apparently, experiment in odd places."
Gawain laughs and moves away from Galahad at last. "Do
we indeed?" he asks, as though he is marvelling over Lynette's words. "I had not known that we had such a reputation."
He sits on the cot next to Lynette. "I shuold introduce you properly, should I not? Lynette, this, obviously, is Galahad."
Gawain leans down and kisses Lynette's brow, pushing her hair back out of her eyes before he settles on the bed alongside her. He lies on his back and looks at Galahad.
glad you enjoyed it, Gal'had," he says softly and he smiles at him, beckoning to him. "Come here?"
He smiles a little, noting the dazed state Lynette is in. "Gawain is good, isn't he?" Galahad smirks and comments to her. She just nods, eyes slipping shut as she exhales happily.
good, Lynette knows. And he'll be hers.
Galahad looks at Gawain happily, lying down beside Gawain, close enough to whisper, "I love you," into his ear and nip at his earlobe affectionately.
Gawain smiles against the skin of Galahad's throat and kisses him softly. "I love you too," he says, very quietly intending that only Galahad should hear him.
Gawain rests his head against Galahad's shoulder and looks at Lynette with a slight smile on his face. He enjoyed taking her but he enjoys this after-companionship with Galahad far more.
She hears it. Lynette's face lights up with a smile as she hears the 'I love you' off of Gawain's lips and now she knows that it's not just her with these emotions. She sighs happily, burrowing into Gawain's side.
"I'll make you happy," she promises, kissing at his chest. "Oh, Gawain," she smiles, pleased. Now is not the time. She must look a mess and she's got to look good for him. She stumbles to find her dress and clothes herself.
"Gawain, I will remember," she says happily, blowing him a kiss before departing, nearly skipping down the hall.
Gawain looks faintly surprised as she leaves and looks at Galahad with a raised eyebrow. He shrugs and leans in to kiss Galahad softly.
Galahad falls into the kiss happily, closing his eyes and shifting until he's lying atop Gawain and kissing him. "You were gorgeous," he mumbles in between kisses.
He frowns slightly, wondering what that show with Lynette had been.
"Gawain," Galahad whispers. "I don't want to do that again."
"That's fine with me," says Gawain immediately, savouring Galahad's kisses. "I had to try so hard to keep from calling your name." He laughs softly. "I did not want to hurt her feelings."
Wrapping his arms around Galahad's waist, Gawain rests his chin atop Galahad's head. "I love you," he says. "And that is all there is to it."
Galahad laughs quietly at that. "I think we may have made a mistake in opening our bed to others," he mumbles softly. "A mistake I don't intend to make again."
He smiles against Gawain's skin. "It pains me to share you, you know."
