Galahad hums under his breath as he traverses the tavern, looking for something to drink and if he's feeling a little loose with his change, perhaps he'll even try and look for something for Gawain to drink as well. Everywhere he goes in the tavern, there are hushed whispers and he frowns and wonders what's going on.
He sees Lynette in the corner, smirking at him, and he gets the worst chill down his back.
"Vanora," Galahad asks cautiously, "What's going on?"
Vanora just grunts. "Some girl sleeping with a knight. Gossip's flying. What else is new?"
She hands him his drink and Galahad slowly slips away with it, sipping idly and sitting at the bench. He quickly orders a jug of wine and when it's delivered, he makes his way back to their quarters, needing to simply validate that everything is going smoothly. He has the oddest feeling that things aren't okay. When he arrives, he pushes into the room to find Gawain sitting there thoughtfully.
"It's mad out there," Galahad comments. "Whispers everywhere."
"Whispers?" Gawain shifts a little uncomfortably before he sees the jug that Galahad is carrying.
"Please say that that is wine or ale?" he says. "I think I'm in sore need of a drink."
Galahad frowns. "The girls are all nattering about things, about some friend of Lynette's," he shrugs, pouring a glass for Gawain and handing it to him. "Don't be a drunkard now," he teases with a smirk.
He sighs and sits on the bed, rubbing at his temples. "There's been nothing but trouble since that woman."
"A drunkard, me?" asks Gawain mildly as he takes a (large) sip of the wine.
He sighs and slings his arm around Galahad's shoulders and presses a kiss to Galahad's temple. "It was a mistake that I would have forgotten long ago if not for the gossips in the tavern."
Galahad simply sits there, pleased to have Gawain's affections and he turns slightly into his touch. "I know," he says quietly. "And we will forget them, as soon as..."
And the door bursts open, Lynette's friend standing there, lip trembling.
"How can you just do this to me?" she shouts at Galahad. "How!"
Gawain, to put it simply, is stunned. He doesn't move his arm from Galahad's shoulders and just stares at the girl.
"Galahad?" he asks, finally looking at his lover. "What...?"
"I...I don't know!" Galahad states wildly, staring at this girl in horror. What was her name
, it had to be something...Rachel? Rebecca? No. Sarah! "Sarah?" he asks hesitantly.
She snorts. "You sleep with me and then you forget my name."
?" Galahad replies in horror.
Sarah sniffs. "It's bad enough everyone is whispering about it, but you're pretending it never happened!"
"Galahad?" asks Gawain again, his voice slightly strained. He frowns at the girl.
"Sarah? I.... ah... are you sure?" he asks desperately, clutching at straws because, quite frankly, he does not like what he is hearing.
Sarah nods vehemently, crossing her arms and looking all the part of a broken-hearted young girl, which is madness because Galahad has never slept with her, not even when he and Gawain were having troubles.
"H-he said he loved me, that we'd have a child and we would be together! He whispered all these things and he stroked my hair, and gasped he loved me when he climaxed," she insisted.
"Is this true?" Gawain asks Galahad quietly, drawing away from Galahad slightly. "Have you slept with this girl?"
He gulps back his wine as he waits for Galahad to answer but it doesn't do anything to stop the feeling of sheer horror that builds up inside him.
Galahad's eyes widen with horror as he realizes that Gawain doesn't trust him automatically. "No!" he gasps. "A thousand t-times, no!"
"You know what you did," Sarah says, upset, turning and slamming the door. Galahad is left to blink in utter shock at all of this, wondering what in hell is going on.
Gawain can't quite take in what's going on.
"You say no but she says yes, Galahad!" he explodes. "She looks quite distraught to me!"
Galahad turns quickly. "You believe her?" he shouts. "You believe some strange girl over the man you're sleeping with!"
He's nearly furious now, glaring and his hands on his hips. "Well?"
"Did you not hear
her, Galahad?" demands Gawain. "She must be a fine actress indeed to cry over you!"
He runs his fingers through his hair and stands up to stride agitatedly from one side of the room to the other. "Put yourself in my position, Galahad," he pleads. "What would you think?"
Galahad simply stands there and glares. "I think that we're right back to where we were before," he says, voice barely holding together. "And I think that you don't trust me! And I haven't done anything!" he shouts. "I've been loyal and good and I've loved you, but apparently, that isn't enough?"
"I did not sleep with her!" he cries, letting out a fierce growl and opening the door. "But if you want to think that, so be it," he snaps. "Well?" he demands again.
"Galahad, don't you dare
leave!" cries Gawain angrily. "I just want to know
where this girl got such an idea!"
He looks briefly bewildered and his voice shakes slightly when he speaks again. "I wouldn't want to believe it of you. I don't think you would do
something like that." He rubs his forehead with the flat of his hand. "I just don't understand
. Why is she so upset?"
"Because she's lying!" Galahad yells back wildly. "This is so stupid, Gawain!" he shouts, the door open as he steps inside. "And if you're going to believe her for a single moment or for a single word that came out of her mouth, then damn it, I am leaving," he threatens.
He shakes his head. "I will not stand here and get treated as though my eye strayed!"
Gawain sits down on the edge of the bed and puts his head in his hands.
"Do not leave."
Galahad is angry now, absolutely furious at the girl and Gawain for a sheer second of believing. He slams the door shut and turns to look at Gawain.
"Accuse me once and I will walk out," he warns, eyes blazing. "I won't stand here and take that from the man I love."
Gawain raises his head and fixes Galahad with an intense expression. "I believe you, Galahad, by the gods, I believe you.
"But what do we do about her
?" he asks, waving his hand in the direction of the door.
"I don't know!" he snaps back, frowning and gritting his teeth. "Which her? The whore who decided she loves you because you slept with her once or the liar who's trying to break us apart?"
He turns and punches hard against the wall, more angry than anything else. "This is insane," he swears. "Gawain, what did we do to deserve this?"
"I don't know
," says Gawain. "I just..." He lets out an articulate growl of rage before taking a few deep breaths. He pours out two glasses of wine and holds one towards Galahad.
"We need to find out why they are doing this. Whose idea it is and what they can hope to gain."
Galahad swipes the wine and nods, taking it back in one go and slamming the glass down on a table. "Ridiculous," he snarls, "to even think I would stray after all the trouble I went through to get you back."
"Can we get Tristan to torture them?" he asks cruelly. "I'm sure he could do it."
Gawain laughs dryly. "I'm sure he could too. I wonder if he knows anything about this. He does seem to know a great deal about the most extraordinary things."
He shakes his head and reaches for Galahad. "Or Lancelot might know. He does pride himself in knowing the girls."
Galahad doesn't want niceties and comfort, not now when he's so very angry. He growls a little and straddles Gawain when he's reached for, leaning down and viciously kissing, a bruising kiss that will leave Gawain's lips slightly swollen when Galahad's done biting and sucking and kissing.
He rocks forward urgently. This isn't time to 'play nice'. This is time to remind Gawain what he has.
"No girl," he hisses in a low, threatening voice, "would ever beguile me as much as you." He buries one hand in Gawain's hair, clasping hard as he leans in for another long, hard kiss. "No girl," he continues, lips right on Gawain's ear, "will ever know how much I want you."
Gawain gasps against Galahad's cheek. He runs his hands up Galahad's thighs, digging his fingers into the skin there.
, then, Galahad," he growls. "Show me how much you want me."
His hands move higher, under Galahad's tunic and he takes hold of Galahad's length and starts to stroke, slowly and very firmly.
Galahad feels fierce now and unwilling to give any ground. He reaches down and strokes himself, his hands atop Gawain's before removing it and easing off to swiftly strip Gawain of all his clothes, tearing them off -- hearing the rip of some stitches, but he doesn't care -- and pushing Gawain down on the bed. He tugs at the hem of his own tunic, standing there naked before straddling Gawain once more, placing his fingers in his mouth and getting them properly coated before he reaches down and begins to prepare himself.
His free hand strokes at Gawain's chest, flicking his nipple and firm in its presence. He will not lose this. Not again.
With a sly and mischievous grin, he leans down and wraps his lips around Gawain's length, coating it well before easing off and adjusting so that he sits atop Gawain and Gawain is pushing into
He lets out an exhaled breath. "I do want you," he says back firmly and swiftly. "So very much."
Gawain can only groan hoarsely. "Gal
'had," he mutters, running his hands up to Galahad's waist so that he can clasp him. Gawain presses up, holding Galahad firmly. He moans and gazes up at Galahad with heavy-lidded eyes.
," he manages to force out. "Only.. you."
Galahad grins, biting his lip in concentration as he sobered and began a rhythm, pushing down and pushing Gawain further into him, rocking his hips forward to cause some friction and brushing his hand over Gawain's cock as he eases out and repeats the rhythm.
His free hand rests atop Gawain's on his thigh and he clasps there possessively. "She can't have
you," he growls, jealous. "You're mine."
"Yes," gasps Gawain. "And you..." he mutters between gulps of air, "...are mine."
His fingers knead into Galahad's thighs as he rocks his hips in time with Galahad. He is in no hurry whatsoever.
Galahad blinks to focus his vision because it's begun to scatter with all his thoughts and all the confusion in his mind. He rocks in time with Gawain, something they have practiced and mastered and it's perfect as it is.
"Roll," he whispers with a hiss. "Roll us."
Gawain laughs breathlessly. He clasps Galahad's hips tightly and rolls over, doing his utmost not to dislodge Galahad.
Now lying on top of Galahad, he pushes Galahad's legs up towards his chest and presses in deeper. "Mmm, Gal'had," he murmurs. "Better?"
Galahad nods swiftly, feeling and lingering in the sensation of Gawain buried in him, something so good, the rest of the world doesn't know what its missing.
"Okay," he whispers. "Good, yes. Rock," he demands, a little petulantly.
Gawain laughs a little more and nuzzles at Galahad's cheek. He does begin to rock, slowly, and deeply, keeping his eyes fastened on Galahad's face so that he can chart his emotions.
Galahad rocks with Gawain back and forth and gasps as the heat flooding his body. "Mine," he assured swiftly, just in case Gawain hasn't gotten the point just yet.
Gawain runs his hands up and down Galahad's sides.
"Yours," he agrees before gasping, "Oh.. Gal'- ah!" Gawain closes his eyes and groans wordlessly, unable to hold back any longer. He plunges into Galahad one last time before he climaxes.
Galahad's breath catches in his throat and he lets out a sharp moan, falling flat as he exhales and gasps out Gawain's name, his thumb barely moving anymore as he flicks it over the head of his length.
He gasps and pants raggedly as he settles. "Gawain, I..." he gasps, inhaling deeply. "Oh gods, just let me come down first."
With a breathless chuckle, Gawain simply moves so that he is partly draped over Galahad. He feels hot and sticky and exhausted but also incredibly relieved.
Galahad gasps for a while until his breath returns to him and he turns to find Gawain staring at him. He grins, hands idly stroking Gawain's back.
"There seems to be this odd, heavy thing on me," he muses aloud. "Quite warm. Very nice to look at."
"Really?" asks Gawain, peacefully. "I do believe that you'll find it to be a pretty permanent fixture, you know."
Galahad just laughs warmly and kisses Gawain atop the head as he wraps his arms around him. "Good," he grins. "No girl comes between us," he swears seriously, giving Gawain a half-stern look. "And if they try, I'll show them why."
His gaze turns cold. "That girl, the one I don't even care to recall her name. I want answers from her."
Gawain nods before laying his head on Galahad's chest. He sighs. "We do need answers. And we need to stop this carry-on."
He rests his hand, almost possessively, on Galahad's hip and closes his eyes.
Galahad adjusts until he's comfortable and lets out a soft sigh. "I'd never sleep with a girl and lose you," he swears. "I'm stupid, but I'm not that idiotic," he swears.
Gawain laughs; a pleased rumble. "You're not that stupid," he murmurs. "Although there are those who might think that your choosing a hairy, bad-tempered Knight is a little foolish."
"Oh?" Galahad comments with a raise of an eyebrow. "And who would those 'those' be? Name names, now, my hairy, bad-tempered Knight?" he teases with a swift kiss to Gawain's collarbone.
Gawain grins and shifts slightly. "The other
hairy, bad-tempered Knights, of course."
He strokes Galahad's back, pulling him closer. "I think they're just jealous of me, really," he says with a smile.
Galahad gives a 'hmph'. "They should be. I am a rather precious commodity that everyone should have."
He settles against Gawain. "Tomorrow. We'll get Tristan to help us. We'll tie her up, demand answers. Put all this to rest."
"Not everyone should have you," says Gawain. He holds Galahad closer. "Just me," he growls softly.
"And I agree. We will get to the bottom of this and have done with it!"
Galahad looks up, feeling a little soft for the moment, but he doesn't care, he needs Gawain to understand this properly. "Gawain," he speaks quietly. "So long as you want me, I am only yours."
"Now rest," he urges. "You're probably tired."
"Mmm," murmurs Gawain contentedly. "Yes, you have exhausted me. You rest too, do you hear? And tomorrow, together, we will sort this whole sorry mess out."
